Luxury Drinks

Maison Paul Jaboulet Aîné was created in 1834 through the magical combination of a fertile land on a hillside by the Rhône and a family with a passion for winemaking.
Over the years, the Domaines Paul Jaboulet Aîné took possession of the best denominations of the northern Rhône Valley, including Hermitage and Crazes Hermitage, but also Saint-Joseph, Cornas and Saint-Peray, and then Côte Rotie and Condrieu.

In 2006, the Preys family, a long-standing family in the Champagne region and owners of Chateau La Lagune in Bordeaux, took over the Maison Paul Jaboulet Aîné.
Caroline, the eldest daughter, works with her teams, where they use biodynamic methods in search of perfection.

Paralléle 45 Blanc

It has a combination of “outdoor” smells: fresh air, daisy, honeycomb, and wet grass. These aromatic pleasures are compressed and frozen on the palate, which reflects similar flavors in a leaner way, with crystalline citrus fruits, honey, acidity, and a limestone mineral finish.
The generosity of the nose is contrasted with the austerity of the palate, but this marked separation arouses curiosity and asks to taste more.

Chateauneuf-du-Pape Les Cédres

The different terroirs that make up this cuvee represent the diversity of soils found in Châteauneuf du Pape.
The Grenache comes from clay and limestone terraces; the Mourvèdre is grown in more sandy soils; and the Cinsault is grown on the region’s famous pebbles. The nose is powerful and aromatic, with fruity notes and slightly to anise. In the mouth, the attack is frank with a good balance of freshness and notes of white fruit.
The finish is persistent with a sweet side.

Hermitage La petite Chapelle

The different portions of the properties, located on the hermitage hill, are vinified separately until the final assembly, which takes place one year after harvest.

Hence the 2 distinct cuvées of the Hermitage are developed, one of which is this “second vin” by the mythical La Chapelle.
With an almost black mantle, with a beautiful shine. The nose is intense and offers notes of sweet spices and pepper, flowers, and fruit jams.

The palate is powerful and balanced, where tannins are present but flexible.
